TRENT ROBINSON
SYDNEY ROOSTERS
Even when I was working with Michael Maguire at the South Sydney Rabbitohs, in 2014, I knew I would one day win a Premiership with the Sydney Roosters, and Trent Robinson and in fact told the boys at Bondi Radio in 2014. I turned up at Roosters training on 15 December 2017...
GRAHAM ARNOLD
SYDNEY FOOTBALL CLUB
Whilst having a meeting with Sydney FC Football Manager, Terry McFlynn, on 13 November 2015, Graham Arnold came over and I was introduced to him in the coffee shop at Allianz Stadium in Sydney. That brief introduction turned into a 40-minute conversation; an Expect to Win talk...
MICHAEL MAGUIRE
SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS
I connected with Michael Maguire on Linked In and sent him an email on 4/1/14. For 4 months I told my friends I would work with Souths Sydney NRL coach Michael Maguire as I have followed South Sydney for over 50 years and they had not won a premiership in 43 years, despite being the winningest club in the NRL.
MICHAEL CHEIKA
RUGBY AUSTRALIA
Having had success with Michael Maguire in 2014, I decided I wanted to work with Michael Cheika. Maguire knows him well and sent a referral text to him on my behalf. At the time, Michael was the Waratahs Super Rugby coach with 2 wins, 2 losses & 2 draws. Cheika rung me on 16 March 2015, I met him in Brisbane 2 weeks later for an “Expect to Win” foundational talk with a programme to win the 2015 World Cup.
EDDIE JONES
ENGLAND RUGBY
After the success I had with Michael Cheika for the 2015 Rugby World Cup, I decided I would win the Six Nations with one of the teams in the northern hemisphere tournament in February/March 2016. It was not a conflict of interest, as Australia were not represented, and my immediate contract with Michael Cheika was completed.
BRETT DREWITT
PROFESSIONAL GOLFER
I saw a profile for Brett Drewitt, professional golfer, on Linked In and connected with him, sending him a message early May 2014. He replied that he was in China at the time. Upon his return to Australia I spoke to him on the phone and gave him an “Expect to Win” talk in the lead up to an event he was playing in.
NICKY WOOD
PROFESSIONAL SURFER
I met 16 year old Nicky Wood in 1987, 3 weeks before the Ripcurl Bells Beach Tournament. I worked alongside him in person, with “Expect to Win” talks, for 3 weeks in the lead up to the Bells Beach pro surfing event. Instilling belief in Nicky over this period, he won the event becoming and still holding the title of the youngest ever surfer to win a pro tour event. I worked along Nicky for 3 events, as his “Expect to Win” mentor, each of which he won. After Bells Beach in 1987, he won the Coke Surfworx Bondi in 1989 and the Billabong Pro Sunset Beach Hawaii in 1990.

NJB CONSULTANCY PTY LTD
We received an email from a businessman. After meeting him, we found out that the reason he sent us the email was because he told his best mate that he was looking for a mentor and he was thinking of reaching out to ‘The Coach Whisperer’. His mate said, “you won’t do that”. So, he did! He became a client of ours, affording us the opportunity to delve deeper into the intricacies of his business. Within the upcoming 12 months, his aspiration was to successfully execute 1 - 2 projects, poised to generate a turnover ranging from $2 to $5 million. Additionally, he required approximately $5 million in capital to kickstart these projects.
QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
The school we worked alongside, had tried all mainstream leadership and performance enhancing programs with no success. Whilst working alongside teachers in the Queensland Department of Education, over 3 months, the Head of Literacy credited our Expect to Win programme with improving literacy levels in the school from a 4.2/9 average up to a 7/9 average by improving the culture, belief in and engagement with, the teachers and the students. Two thirds of the teachers, within the Expect to Win 3-month programme, also secured promotions in the following year.
THE ROYAL HOSPITAL FOR WOMEN
NSW HEALTH
We have worked alongside the General Manager, her management team and HODs at The Royal Hospital for Women, Randwick, for NSW Health for the past 12 months. In that time, we have improved the culture of the team and the whole hospital, in terms of its’ leadership, efficiency, communication and energy. An on-going pilot study, into the impact of the Expect to Win program, shows a significant improvement in the overall performance of the hospital in terms of positive maternity deliveries.
